In May 2015 Norman Doidge is returning to Australia.  His last appearance in Brisbane, at the Brisbane Writers Festival, was described by the Courier Mail as “electrifying,” and his book was the bestselling one at the Festival.  He will be returning to Brisbane, to a large venue in May. His first appearance in Melbourne drew 1,700 people, to the Federation Square, and he’s returning to an equally large venue again.  He will visit Adelaide, too, for the first time.

Norman Doidge has given presentations at the London School of Economics, the White House, the United Nations, Yale University, the Harvard-MIT conference Learning and the Brain, The Royal Society of Arts, London, Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience. Dublin, Peking University’s  Neuroscience Research Institute, China,
The Ducal Palace at the Genoa Science Festival, The Sydney Opera House.  He’s spoken throughout North America, Europe, and Australia,  exciting academics, scientists, business people, government leaders, clinicians, artists and lay people alike.

"“Dr. Norman Doidge is masterful in his extensive and intensive knowledge of the human brain in its myriad complexities; artful in his effortless and absorbing expositions of his subject matter and riveting in his presentations of the specifics of brain change and the scientific adaptations aimed at wonderous normalization of brain deficits. Doidge's presentations are nothing short of spectacular and are not to be missed by specialists and laymen alike.”"

− Paul V. Cassano Ph.D. Vice President, Development Assumption University of Windsor

"“Inspirational and tremendously hopeful. Dr. Doidge brings the information to the audience through story, and the audience learns ways to keep everyone's brain healthy. The information validates that we must not put caps or limits on people. We loved the way he integrated literature, philosophy, medicine and psychology.”"

− Susan Close. inventor of the brain-based education program, Smart Learning

"“In addition to being a brilliant presenter, Dr. Doidge is a great guy and a joy with whom to work...Dr. Doidge’s presentation was thoughtful and cogent as he introduced neuroplasticity and the amazing treatment results being achieved based upon the knowledge of neuroscience…The video clips of Dr. Doidge’s work made the discoveries in science more concrete and demonstrated the profound impact being achieved. It was amazing to see the utilization of brain plasticity to treat common and more esoteric conditions.”"

− Margo DeMont, Ph.D. Executive Director of Community Health Enhancement Memorial Hospital of South Bend

"“I was on an 'educational high' for weeks after spending the day with Dr. Doidge! His presentation is insightful, relevant and engaging with just the right mix of humour and warmth. Dr. Doidge's work will deeply affect you and your brain!”"

− Nadine Naughton, Victoria B.C. a teacher-leader

""Dr. Doidge's presentation is funny, entertaining, and compelling...a renaissance man, he knows his history, philosophy, science and he definitely knows the brain. As an educator, I see profound implications in his work.""

− Ingrid Fawcett, British Columbia

"“Dr. Norman Doidge spoke to our Bon Mot Club event and captivated the audience and we've been receiving rave reviews. He was able to take the complicated field of brain research and create a fascinating presentation our group of very senior business & community leaders could directly relate to, and integrate the information into their own lives and careers. Norm was great to work with and very flexible in tailoring his stories to connect with the audience's interests. I look forward to hosting him again when he has another book published!" "

− Leah Costello, President, Curious Mind Productions & Founder, The Bon Mot Book Club.

"In 20 years as a Director of Medical Education, I have never attended such a provocative and useful medical education program. Dr. Doidge’s eloquent rendering of the story of neuroplasticity affirms my commitment to continuous lifelong engagement in medicine as a means of attaining not only competence, but passion for medicine in these challenging times. Dr. Doidge lends hard scientific credibility to the common sense dictum that those who love their jobs, love their lives. Not only did I find Dr. Doidge’s presentation personally relevant, but also, the principles he espouses can be applied to our entire hospital system.”"

− Mark Walsh, M.D. Director of Medical Education, Memorial Hospital and Health System, South Bend, IN Emergency Medicine Physician, Memorial Hospital Clinical Assistant Professor, Indiana University School of Medicine, South Bend Campus
